A 2-2 draw and a point gained against Bournemouth in their previous meeting will have been considered a fairly decent for Fulham last time out.  They achieved 69% possession in that match and had 19 strikes at goal, with 4 hitting the target, up against Bournemouth's tally of 10 efforts at goal, 6 of which were on target.

Aston Villa will not be too troubled by their 2-0 home defeat against Chelsea, given the latter currently sit 14 places further up the league table than they do.  Their share of possession in that meeting was 41%, while racking up 18 shots along the way, 7 of which were on target, in contrast to the numbers reached by Chelsea, who had 8 shots on goal with 4 on target.  

When it comes to attacking power Steven Gerrard will be justly satisfied with his squad's performances of late, which has seen them chalk up 4 goals in their last 6 matches. However, it hasn't all been going well, and questions remain about their defence with 6 goals lost in those 6 matches resulting in some crucial points dropped.  Away goals have been high on their agenda recently, having scored in 4 of their last 6 away league games.  They will need to tighten up at the back, having failed to keep a clean sheet in all but 1 of their last 6 away games.
